FUND A WOMEN'S CENTER
We believe in women. We believe their lives should reflect the decisions
they make, not the circumstances in which they were born. We want to
empower women to change the narrative of what their futures could be.
AND WE BELIEVE THAT STARTS WITH A JOB.

Our Women's Centers, located in the Eastern and Northern Provinces of Rwanda, are vocational training centers born out of the ideas of the ladies they now train and empower. These centers provide opportunities for women in the community to receive training and education that empower them to create their own sewing, weaving and agriculture businesses, and now provide spaces for them to participate in the Kula Fellowship. The women participate in business training followed by specific skills training empowering them to create beautiful handmade products and agribusiness goods to sell on the local market.
Now, these women engage in income-generating activities providing for themselves and their families for the whole year.

FIRST YEAR IMPACT

“We’ve come from a long distance, but now we are going somewhere.
We used to be job seekers, but now we are job creators."
