Household Entrepreneurship: Training & Coaching

Kula provides business training to support Fellows in diversifying their income through the development of new revenue streams. Kula Business Coaches conduct group and individual training, ensuring that topics are understood and implemented throughout the Fellowship. The first six months of the Fellowship are focused on Business Theory; building clarity for Fellows’ self-awareness, goals, and vision, equipping them with tools to develop and launch new businesses, and forming Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) in order to build their savings and grow a pool for future finance capital.

During this period, inputs provided include:

  • Record booklets for Fellows and VSLAs

  • Smartphones for VSLAs to monitor their group's progress
