Janet's favorite thing about Rwanda is the dancing: an activity that is most appropriate because she herself exudes all of the fun, excitement, and passion found in the traditional Rwandan dance!
And just as Rwandan villages use dancing to welcome visitors into their communities, Janet welcomes every single person she meets into her home with open arms. She and her husband Emmanuel are coffee farmers in Musumba (Ma-SOOM-ba) who have four children who they believe in and work hard to provide for. Her son Sam wants to be a pilot, while her daughter Miriam hasn't yet decided if she wants to be a teacher or a successful business woman. Janet told us that the income from growing coffee will "give her children the education they need to pursue their dreams".
What a privilege it is to know and be apart of their story.
